| Been a while since I wrote in this(sry to the 2 of u that may read this lol).......Baby, I'm going insane without you with me. I really miss you. It sucks, I don't even get to talk 2 u that often. It's ok though, the notes a day n the pictures make it a little easier. Plus, I always think about you . I love you ducky ......... I've learned alot on this trip so far. For one thing, I really do have a heart for those people that don't exactly fit into what society considers normal or acceptable, whether that is because they are homeless or disabled or whatever. Just because a person is homeless doesn't mean there crazy or dangerous. Granted some are a little out there, but theres some in every catagorie of people that are. But the majority of the ones that I've come into contact with are nice, polite people. Yes, they ask for money, but they don't do it in a rude way. A great example of this happened to me today. I was walking down the street today and a homeless man asked me if I "could spare some change." Instead of just ignoring him or saying no and then quickly walking away, I said "sorry, I'm broke." But did he get mad at me or curse me? No, he said "well, god bless, and stay out of trouble." Kinda makes you wonder what may have happened if someone had given him the same advice. I bet thats why so many people end up that way. They get in a little trouble and one thing leads to another. But if people would just lend a hand and help them get back on there feet, I bet they could make it on there own........I really wish I had some bibles with me, I would have loved to hand some out. Oh well, maybe some day me and katie can come on a little mission-like trip out here. |
